Tim Woodfield – Associate Health & Safety Consultant.
Tim joined Initiative in January 2016 as a Senior Health & Safety Consultant delivering a wide range of Health & Safety consultancy and training related services to Initiative clients.
Following a successful 20 year career in West Midlands Fire Service, Tim became a sub officer in charge of crew command and spent two and a half years at the prestigious training centre where he was not only a recruit training instructor but also the road traffic accident instructor for the entire West Midlands. Along with a number of roles Tim became a training instructor in breathing apparatus, first aid and specialist appliances.
In 2009, Tim left the Fire Service to move into Health & Safety Consultancy and actively delivers a wide range of support services to Initiative clients including:
- Fire risk assessments.
- Fire safety training.
- Risk Assessments & Risk Assessment Training.
- IOSH Accredited training (IOSH Managing and Working Safely).
- Manual handling Assessments and Training.
- COSHH Assessments.
- First aid Accredited Training.
- DSE assessments and training.
- Site H&S Inspections and Audits (including H&S Legal Compliance).
Key Professional Honours / Memberships.
As a Tech IOSH member, Tim also holds NEBOSH qualification certificates in construction site safety, general safety and fire risk management, as well as IOSH manging safely.
Tim is currently taking his level 5 Health & Safety to achieve chartered status of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (CMIOSH).
